The city in Indonesia will close a three-part Asian tour also including two Chinese stops: Keqiao and Wujiang.
The IFSC and the Indonesian Climbing Federation are pleased to announce that this year’s third IFSC World Cup event will take place in Bali, Indonesia, from 2 to 4 May.
This marks the third time Indonesia has welcomed a Climbing World Cup event, following Jakarta’s successful events in 2022 and 2023. Jakarta also hosted the IFSC Asian Qualifier in 2023, further solidifying the country’s status as a premier destination for international Climbing events in Asia.
The World Cup in Bali will feature both Lead and Speed competitions. Among the athletes expected to compete is Paris 2024 Olympic champion Veddriq Leonardo, who will have the unique opportunity to perform in front of a home crowd. Also part of a strong home team will be Desak Made Rita Kusuma Dewi, current world champion in the women’s Speed event, and twin brothers Raviandi and Ravianto Ramadhan, competing in Lead.
The Bali event will serve as the final stop in a three-legged Asian tour that also includes World Cups in Keqiao, China, and Wujiang, China. The full calendar of IFSC World Cups and Championships was presented earlier in 2025 and is now available on the IFSC website.
News and updates about all IFSC events will be available on the IFSC website on the Federation’s digital channels: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, and exclusively for the Chinese audience, Douyin and Weibo.
