Newly re-elected Chair of IFSC Africa George Stainton traveled to the capital city of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kinshasa, to present and spark a development plan for Climbing in the country.

The IFSC Africa representative in the Executive Board met with officials from the Sport and Education Ministries and the President of the Congolese Climbing Federation, Christian Kingombe Kemba Lufala. Also part of the trip was a visit to one of the biggest sports complex in the country.
