IFSC AFRICAN COUNCIL ELECTS NEW BOARD
South Africa’s representative George Stainton will lead the Continental body for four more years.
Six out of the 10 African National Federations that are currently members of the IFSC met virtually on 11 January 2025 to elect the second African Board in the history of the Federation.
Representatives of Algeria, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mauritius, Nigeria, South Africa, and Uganda, attended the assembly and re-elected George Stainton as the Chair of the Continental body.
Stainton, a former President of the South African Climbing Federation, also led IFSC Africa for the past four years.
