Global applications are open for all auto belay manufacturers that wish to obtain IFSC recognition for the 2025-2028 four-year cycle.

A panel of major experts in the industry, along with a group of IFSC Speed coaches, prepared a set of high company and product standards that applicants will have to respect to obtain recognition.

At the end of the process, if successful, the product will be labeled an IFSC Recognised Speed Auto Belay, and eligible for Climbing competitions and training. The recognised manufacturer will also be granted the use of a specifically designed label for marketing purposes.

Recognition from the IFSC will not guarantee the use of the authorised product at IFSC-sanctioned competitions, and longtime Partner Perfect Descent will remain the IFSC sole supplier for auto belays throughout the entire 2024 season.
