IFSC WORLD CUP INNSBRUCK 2024: FACTS AND STATS

The fourth World Cup event of the year featuring the Lead and Boulder disciplines.

Innsbruck 2024 will be 398th Climbing World Cup event in the history of the Federation – including both UIAA and IFSC – the 37th organised in Austria, ninth in Innsbruck.
 
The event will include the 226th pair of Lead World Cup competitions, and the 151st pair of Boulder.
 
In total, 294 climbers – 155 male and 139 female – are registered to participate, representing 47 countries and territories, and five continents, and competing in four medal events: women’s Lead, women’s Boulder, men’s Lead, and men’s Boulder.
 
HIGHLIGHTS

Fanny Gibert (FRA) attends her 54th Boulder World Cup - seventh on the all-time list and a record for a French female Boulder athlete.
 
Jakob Schubert (AUT) attends his 56th Boulder World cup, and Narasaki Tomoa (JPN) his 51st Boulder World Cup.
 
Schubert is also attending his 86th Lead World Cup , and Stefano Ghisolfi (ITA) attends his 80th Lead World Cup.
