IFSC President Marco Scolaris also took the chance to meet the President of the Maltese Olympic Committee Mr Julian Pace Bonello.
One week after traveling to Cascais, Portugal, for the General Assembly of the Association of National Olympic Committees, IFSC President Marco Scolaris moved to Malta and attended the yearly congress of the Union Internationale des Associations d'Alpinisme.
“Attending the UIAA General Assembly gives me the opportunity to meet many friends, as some of our National Federations are also member of the UIAA, listen to their needs, and prepare the next steps we can take in developing our Strategic Plan and our policies,” said Mr Scolaris.
“I also had the chance the meet with the National Olympic Committee President of Malta, Mr. Julian Pace Bonello, and discuss how we can make progress and grow the sport in the country.”
The UIAA General Assembly took place from 8 to 9 November.
