Following its debut on 15 February, the second episode of IFSC Lounge is going to be live streamed on Thursday, 14 March, featuring Tokyo 2020 Olympian and former Boulder World Champion Petra Klingler of Switzerland, along with the creator of the podcast That’s Not Real Climbing, Jinni Xia.

The 32-year-old Swiss climber is one of the most experienced athletes in the circuit, having competed at 65 IFSC World Cups and nine IFSC World Championships. Back in 2016, Klingler won the women’s Boulder world title in Paris, France, while three years later, in Hachioji, Japan, she placed eighth in the women’s Combined event and secured a spot at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.

At last year’s World Championships in Bern, Switzerland, at the end of the Boulder semi-final round Klingler was celebrated with a standing ovation by the thousands of climbing fans that gathered at the PostFinance Arena, also receiving a volume from one of the boulders she topped during the competition.

Joining Klingler in the second episode of IFSC Lounge will be Jinni Xia, creator of the podcast That’s Not Real Climbing, which she launched back in July 2023. As of now, the show has 15 episodes, spanning from athletes, to routesetters, to coaches, and other Climbing personalities.

Episode 2 of the IFSC Lounge will go live on Facebook and YouTube on Thursday, 14 March, and will later be available on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
