TWO MORE EUROPEAN CUPS IN THE BOOKS AFTER EVENTS IN AUGSBURG AND INNSBRUCK

Austria, France, Slovenia, Spain, and Ukraine all won Continental gold medals in the span of one week.

The IFSC European Cup Series 2024 concluded its first part of the season with two events in Augsburg, Germany, from 21 to 22 June, and Innsbruck, Austria, only a couple of days later.

Featuring competitions in Lead and Speed, the IFSC European Cup in Augsburg saw 16-year-old Jennifer Eucharia Buckley of Slovenia take gold in the women’s Lead event, only a few before winning Boulder bronze at the IFSC World Cup in Innsbruck.

Also atop the Lead podium in Augsbrug was Guillermo Peinado Franganillo of Spain, who ruled the men’s final.

Daria Tkachova of Ukraine beat Maria Szwed of Poland in the women’s one. Max Mengual of France won gold in the men’s final, beating Luca Robbiati of Italy.
