WHAT THEY SAID
Jan STIPEK (CZE):
“Qualification was kind of good. I was a bit scared of the routes, but I qualified in sixth place I think to the semi-finals and now I’m climbing like I always climb. I’m 100% going to the final so it’s awesome.
“I want the podium, but better to win. This I promised to my parents so I will go for it.”
Geila MACIA MARTIN (ESP):
“This morning I was super tired because I didn’t sleep well, but I went back to the hotel in the middle of the day to sleep a little bit and now I feel so good climbing, like I know I can. I was showing how much I’ve trained this year and all the years, so I feel really good as I’m heading to the final again.
“We have a day to rest now which is very good. I can rest, sleep a little bit and then go on fire at the finals. For me the goal is to win, but I will just climb like I know I can and do my best.”
